Formerly known as Future Tech Scaffolding, Irish Scaffolding Services is a privately owned company with over 20 years experience providing an all round service that delivers planning, design, erection, site attendance and dismantling throughout Leinster and the surrounding areas.

Recently, ISS has decided to embark on an expansion of the company due to the significant enquiries that we are receiving. This is only possible due to the the hard work and expertise of our staff, who between them all have an abundance of experience within the industry. Each staff member at ISS, is encouraged to learn and upskill with all having the necessary training on hand to ensure that they can maximize their own potential.

Ownership & Team

Michael Doyle — Co-Owner

Michael co-owns the business and oversees the company across operations and development, drawing on strong industry relationships to grow Irish Scaffolding Services across Ireland and beyond.

James Hickey — Contracts Manager

James is our Contracts Manager, with over two decades of scaffolding experience. Hands-on across every job, he leads the planning, pricing and on-site delivery of each project, making sure work is completed safely, on schedule and to a high standard.

Valerio Zanella — Scaffold Design Engineer

Valerio holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Ferrara, Italy, and leads our in-house scaffold design team. He produces engineered drawings and structural calculations for complex and bespoke projects — meaning ISS can plan, design and deliver technically demanding scaffolds in-house, from heritage structures to large commercial works, without outsourcing. This is a genuine competitive advantage on bigger contracts where main contractors require engineered scaffold designs.
